Motion sensors: Our expertise and 100 percent in-house design of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) sensors results in compact, ultra-low power, high-performance and highly integrated motion sensors. Our portfolio comprises 3-axis accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers, 6-axis inertial measurement units and 9-axis absolute orientation sensors. Motion sensors enable for various applications such as smartphones, wearables, robots, drones, AR & VR, gaming and smart home. Environmental sensors: The category of environmental sensors includes barometric pressure sensors for drones, wearables and smartphones as well as humidity sensors measuring air pressure, ambient temperature and relative humidity for climate control for example in smart homes. In addition, Bosch Sensortec offers highly integrated four-in-one gas sensors adding gas measurement for air quality monitoring. Smart sensors: Smart, compact and all-inclusive: Our smart sensors comprise low-power motion sensors, embedded software like sensor data fusion and a microcontroller in a single, small package, with a wide variety of interfaces to connect external devices. These smart cookies enable embedded machine learning algorithms, local data processing directly in the sensor and are ideally suited for always-on applications. Optical microsystems: The optical microsystems provide complete, ready-to-use solutions based on microoptoelectromechanical systems (MOEMS). The MOEMS sensors enable always-in-focus projection and flexible virtual touchscreens on every surface. The systems combine all hardware components as well as algorithms to integrate into customer devices as a stand-alone or an embedded solution. A generated laser beam for example creates an image and then scans it line-by-line to detect any gestures or finger movements. No calibration or adjustment is required. Software & tools: The Bosch Sensortec sensor fusion software is a complete 9-axis fusion solution. The software combines the measurements from 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis geomagnetic sensor and a 3-axis accelerometer, to provide a robust absolute orientation vector. The algorithm fuses the sensor raw data in an intelligent way to improve each sensors output. Our tools section provides you with hardware and software tools including all relevant documents like application boards, shuttle boards, reference designs, the development desktop software and the COINES software.
